Pinnacle Brokers, Inc., a brokerage firm based in Georgetown, Texas, is expanding its operations into the foodservice, c-store and grocery segments, the company said.

The company, founded in 2004, has been a category specialist for the vending and coffee industries.

The company has hired Gene Ratliff and Bryan Brewster to manage the new expansion.

Ratliff joins as executive vice president of operations. He has more than 30 years experience in consumer goods at various national executive positions, and will concentrate on business development of new segments and will work closely with the principles and accounts to perpetuate category growth.

Brewster joins as vice president of special market sales. He has worked in the food and beverage industry for the past 30 years, and has experience in many facets, including vending and foodservice in operations and sales.

Brewster’s past work has included Schwan’s Food Service, Coca-Cola Bottling Company of the Southwest, as well as other sales positions in Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana.
