The No. 1 complaint of job seekers nationwide is that recruiters and interviewers never get back to them.
Not even a “thanks, but no thanks.” I don’t know why this simple courtesy is so often ignored, especially when it could be so easily automated.
What’s being overlooked here is the “bad taste” left in the applicant’s mouth when you never know who that person might know (which may well include existing or potential customers, vendors, community leaders, and other stakeholders).
