Thorntons will open its newest travel center on Friday, July 26, in Memphis, Ind., at 13604 Blue Lick Road. The 9,160 square foot facility is Thorntons largest store to date and will offer a wide variety of amenities, including:
- Burger King restaurant
- Parking spaces for 44 trucks
- Seven diesel bays
- Twenty auto fueling positions
- Five showers
- CAT scale for truck weighing
- Freshly made burritos and sandwiches daily
This is Thorntons first store opening since the Arclight Capital Partners and BP acquisition at the beginning of the year. Several new stores are set for the remainder of the year and more are planned for 2020.

Based in Louisville, Kentucky, Thorntons currently operates 192 stores that provide fresh foods, high quality beverages and fuel in six states: Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Tennessee and Florida.
