V Marks the Shop willfunction as a plant-based convenience store and "community space."

V Marks the Shop, an all-vegan convenience store, recently opened in Philadelphia.

The store offers a variety of plant-based snacks and meal options, including vegan meat, cheese and egg products.

There’s also an emphasis on independent businesses and locally sourced products.

Co-owners and married couple Carlo Giardina and Carmella Lanni spend time researching smaller businesses with products that most stores don’t carry, according to The Philadelphia Inquirer.

“But we’re also a community space — people can come here to hang out, learn about veganism, meet other vegans and participate in events,” said Lanni.

V Marks the Shop has a in-store seating area and free WiFi.
