Richard Cleary, manager of the VERC Pembroke Mobil & Dunkin' Donuts, presents a check for $500 to David Summergrad, principal of North Pembroke Elementary School.

VERC Enterprises, a convenience store and Mobil/Gulf gasoline operator with 24 locations throughout eastern Massachusetts and New Hampshire, recently presented North Pembroke Elementary School with a check for $500, a grant made possible through the ExxonMobil Educational Alliance Program.

Funded by the ExxonMobil Corp., the ExxonMobil Educational Alliance program is designed to provide local retailers an opportunity to invest in the future of their communities through educational grants to neighborhood schools.

Richard Cleary, manager of the VERC Pembroke Mobil & Dunkin’ Donuts at 145 Church Street, presented the check to David Summergrad, principal of North Pembroke Elementary School.

“We’re proud to participate in such a fine program that recognizes and supports the quality of local schools,” said Leo Vercollone, CEO of VERC Enterprises.
