Weigel’s, based in Powell, Tenn. has announced the first winner of its Free Gas for a Year sweepstakes.
Kathleen Hooker is the first winner of Weigel’s Free Gas for a Year, and will be awarded her prize tomorrow at her local Weigel’s Store #75: 105 Boyds Creek in Seymour. Hooker is a Weigel’s myRewards loyalty card holder; a program that was newly launched this past March 2018, and was selected by a random drawing for her use of the card.
“We are excited to be giving away Free Gas for a Year,” said Kurt Weigel, HR director for Weigels. “Our loyalty program is designed to reward our biggest and most loyal fans, and we’re happy to be announcing our first of 12 winners.”
Hooker loves to shop at her local Weigel’s store in Seymour. “It’s my preferred place to shop for milk, gas and other quick pick-ups. I’m so excited to receive the Free Gas For a Year. I shop at my Weigel’s all the time. With summer just around the corner, the FREE gas for a year is just a perfect way to start off road-trip season! Everyone should sign up for the myRewards program!”
Weigel’s launched their new Loyalty program March 12. There are several ways to register to win “Free Gas for A Year,” and no purchase is necessary. Weigel along with other Weigel staff will present her the winning check.
“Weigel’s loyalty program is such a great way to save money. I’m a long-time participant of the gallon milk club. And with this new program they launched, I’m also able to get great instant discounts on stuff I buy in the store,” said Hooker. “I love my Weigel’s!”
Weigel’s operates 66 convenience stores, a dairy and a bakery, all within a 100-mile radius of corporate headquarters in Powell, Tenn.
