The new c-store had an opening celebration with community support and leadership.

Weigel’s opened its newest store, Store No. 106, located in Elizabethton, Tenn. This opening marks an exciting milestone as the chain brings its first store to Elizabethton, continuing its growth across east Tennessee. Strong community support and local leadership were present at the celebration, highlighting Weigel’s deep commitment to serving and investing in the neighborhoods it joins.

Local officials, including Elizabethton Mayor Bill Carter and Mayor Pro-Tem Michael Simerly, joined Weigel’s leadership to cut the ribbon and officially welcome Store No. 106 to the community. In a show of appreciation, Weigel’s presented donation checks to both the Elizabethton Police Department and the Elizabethton Fire Department — continuing a tradition of supporting first responders and reinforcing a long-standing commitment to public safety and community partnerships.

Weigel’s looks forward to building strong, lasting relationships with the Elizabethton community and continuing to serve as a reliable and welcoming stop for guests across the region.
