Expanding its popular private-label brands, Wilson Farms Inc. said it’s adding a Fresh n’ Ready Bakery program to 60 of its 194 locations throughout New York.

The company, operating under the Wilson Farms, Sugarcreek and Wilson Farms Xpress banners, will offer a variety of fresh-baked products that will be delivered to the stores daily, including donuts, bagels, giant muffins and donut holes.

“The products will compliment our Wilson Farms Gourmet Coffee Program,” said Category Manager Richard Pajak, who spearheaded the bakery campaign. “Through this program we will be able to keep up with our customer’s demands for a wider variety and assortment of bakery items.”

Pajak explained that stores carrying the Fresh n’ Ready Bakery program will receive fresh-baked products on a daily basis from a commissary located on Broadway in Cheektowaga.

Paul Nanula, president and CEO of Wilson Farms, said the new initiative is another way to serve the community.

“This program, combined with our Fresh n’ Ready breakfast program and the Wilson Farms coffee program, will help to create a one-stop shopping experience for our customers and will help them save time and money,” Nanula said. “It’s about creating 100 percent customer satisfaction every time they walk in the door, and this is just one of the many ways Wilson Farms is able to do so.”

The program, which will go live in all 60 locations on Sept. 20, will replace Krispy Kreme’s donut products.

Wilson Farms Neighborhood Food Stores operates 194 convenience store and gas stations throughout New York.
