Alto-Shaam has launched a new, dedicated ChefLinc app, bringing ChefLinc’s remote oven management capabilities to a mobile device. With the ChefLinc app, users can monitor ChefLinc-enabled ovens and stay informed on recipe progress, oven status and equipment performance in real time, with push notifications for recipe completion and cleaning cycles. The app also supports remote recipe management to drive consistency, training and menu expansion, including the ability to manage recipes remotely, lock settings and set time-based menu scheduling.
To support long-term reliability, ChefLinc tracks cleaning cycles, usage history and service activity, with reporting that reinforces best practices and keeps equipment properly maintained. When product support is needed, ChefLinc connects Alto-Shaam service teams to general equipment information, real-time oven data and current and past alert history for the oven. If a technician needs help in the field, ChefLinc remote support lets the service team hold a video session, share screens, save and edit photos, and even record video to help troubleshoot or document the work after a repair is complete.
