The company has added over 850 charging points to ChargeHub's Passport Hub.

bp pulse has joined ChargeHub’s Passport Hub, bringing more than 850 charging points across 95-plus bp pulse locations into the Passport Hub ecosystem, enabling users to find, access and pay for charging through the ChargeHub app.

The partnership connects bp pulse with a broader network of EV charging services and supports a more seamless charging experience for EV drivers. By connecting through Passport Hub, bp pulse gains access to a growing ecosystem of roaming partners, including eMSPs and automakers, through a single integration and commercial agreement.

For bp pulse, this means increased network visibility and simplified interoperability management. For drivers, it means it’s easier than ever to discover and charge at bp pulse locations.

“We’re focused on making charging simple, reliable and easy to access wherever drivers need it,” said Sujay Sharma, VP EV Charging, U.S. “By partnering with ChargeHub, we’re expanding access to the bp pulse network through trusted roaming partners for EV drivers on the road. Charging networks working better together benefits the entire EV ecosystem and is an important step toward accelerating EV adoption.”

“When a network like bp pulse chooses to connect through Passport Hub, it’s a strong signal that the hub model has become the way roaming gets done in North America,” said Simon Ouellette, CEO at ChargeHub. “And because it’s a hub, the impact goes well beyond the ChargeHub app: the eMSPs and automakers in our ecosystem can now offer their drivers access to bp pulse fast chargers through the connection they already have. When one major network joins, the whole ecosystem gets better at once.”

bp pulse is one of the world’s largest EV charging businesses, operating a growing network of public fast-charging infrastructure. In the U.S., bp pulse is expanding high-speed charging across key metropolitan areas, travel corridors and strategic partner locations.

In late August, the company expanded its network to Alabama while adding sites in multiple additional states.

“This month, we’re excited to announce our expansion to Alabama with our first site in this state, as well as our continued rollout in California, Oregon, Texas and Washington,” the company noted in an August statement.

In June, bp pulse unveiled its first ultrafast charging station in Louisiana, as well as a continued rollout to Virginia and Texas.

The Slidell, La., site is located at the TravelCenters of America (TA) on I-10 and features 12 charging bays.

Earlier in June, bp pulse grew to Michigan and Utah with its first sites in the states.
