Nearly 100 Florida stores will be revamped through 2027.

RaceTrac has announced the launch of a $63 million investment to remodel 98 of its Florida stores, bringing its popular pizza bar to the locations for the first time.

The staggered reopenings have started and will continue through 2027.

The project represents RaceTrac’s largest remodel program in Florida to date and “reflects the company’s broader strategy of transforming its stores into food destinations that serve the everyday routines of its guests,” it noted in a statement.

“Florida is home to nearly one in three RaceTrac stores, highlighting how important it is to continue to invest in our guests and communities we serve here,” said Melanie Isbill, president of convenience retail at RaceTrac. “Our Florida guests have told us what they want from a quick stop: crave-worthy fresh food, great coffee and a store that’s easy to shop. These remodels bring all of that to locations from Jacksonville to Miami, and we can’t wait for everyone to experience them.”

Remodeled stores will feature a full grab-and-go pizza bar; a redesigned coffee area; a refreshed Swirl World frozen yogurt bar; updated interior graphics, signage, paint and decor; and reorganized shelving.

“These remodels are part of a broader RaceTrac effort to meet guests where their habits have shifted, combining fuel, fresh food and everyday essentials in a single stop,” the statement continued. “With pizza bars, expanded hot food and a sharpened coffee program, RaceTrac is positioning these remodeled stores as an everyday stop for commuters, families and professional drivers alike.”

Nearly 40% of RaceTrac’s Florida stores are part of the program, which reaches every major market in the state. Greater Orlando accounts for the largest share at 23 stores. Tampa Bay, southwest Florida and southeast Florida follow with 14 remodeled locations each, running from Hillsborough and Pinellas counties to the Fort Myers and Naples corridor to Broward, Palm Beach and Miami-Dade counties. The Sarasota and Bradenton market adds seven, with six each in Polk County and the Daytona Beach area, five in Jacksonville, four along the Treasure Coast, three on the Space Coast and two in Ocala.

Throughout construction, stores will remain open to serve guests whenever possible, but some extensive remodels will require the stores to close.
