During the Chestnut Market store tours on Friday, Aug. 21, CStore Momentum attendees will have the opportunity to see firsthand how the innovations highlighted during the conference’s educational sessions are being brought to life in-store.
The bus tour includes four stops that collectively showcase the full gamut of Chestnut’s current offerings and key initiatives — from highway locations to neighborhood markets, from the latest store redesigns to the first Chestnut Market-branded location, and from expanded foodservice programs to technology innovations.
92 W. Main St., Elmsford, N.Y. 10523
When Chestnut Group introduced the Chestnut Market brand in 2020, it launched the rollout with its first new-to-industry store in Elmsford, N.Y., setting the standard for the brand’s modern design, elevated customer experience and future growth. As attendees tour the location, they will get a chance to see Chestnut’s collaboration with quick-service restaurant Dunkin’ in action. This store primarily serves local residents and commuters traveling along Route 119.

1250 Nepperhan Ave., Yonkers, N.Y. 10703
This site is one of the chain’s newest major redevelopment projects that transformed an older Mobil gas station into a significantly larger, modern convenience store. The original gas station had been built in 1969, and in 2024-2025, Chestnut raised and rebuilt the location, opening its revamped modern site in August 2025. Within the Chestnut Market portfolio, the Nepperhan Avenue project demonstrates the company’s strategy of redeveloping legacy fuel sites into larger, modern convenience destinations. This store also showcases Chestnut’s smaller-format foodservice program in action.

434 Gramatan Ave., Mt Vernon, N.Y. 10552
This newly remodeled location serves the walkable Fleetwood neighborhood comprised of residential buildings, restaurants, schools and small businesses, as well as motorists traveling along Gramatan Avenue. The store features foodservice and is the first Chestnut location to offer the chain’s enhanced digital pump topper program, which marks the beginning of Chestnut’s Retail Media Network – Squirrel Media.

The Hutch — located on the Hutchinson River Parkway “The Hutch” is Chestnut Market’s flagship location set on the median of the Hutchinson River Parkway. The revamped site reopened in February 2024 with a clean and spacious upscale design that includes a glass-front exterior, high ceilings and an emphasis on convenience and accessibility. Unlike most highway rest stops, it’s built in the center of the parkway and is accessible from both northbound and southbound traffic. The location won CStore Decisions’ Best Store Design Award in 2025. Attendees will have a chance to sample the chain’s foodservice program at this location, and see the chain’s technology programs, including self-checkout, in action.
