QuikTrip has announced the opening of its first Utah store, with “plans to expand to additional locations in the coming years,” the retailer noted in a statement.
The store, located in Marriott-Slaterville, sits just west of Interstate 15 along the 12th Street corridor. It opened to customers at 6 a.m. on July 31 and will remain open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A grand opening celebration featuring product samples, prizes and family-friendly activities is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 22.
“We like to say that QuikTrip is more than a gas station. That means we care as much about the customer at the counter as the customer at the pump,” said QuikTrip Corporate Communications Manager Aisha Jefferson. “Our stores are open 24 hours a day, and customers can count on a clean, safe, well-lit place with quality food and drinks. Utah is a place where people do business the same way we try to, and we’re proud to be here.”
Every QuikTrip features QT Kitchens, the company’s signature foodservice program, with made-to-order meals, breakfast sandwiches, fresh pizza, hot dogs and grab-and-go options.
The Marriott-Slaterville location is built on QT’s travel center concept and includes 16 gas pumps, six high-flow diesel bays for tractor-trailers and ample parking for residents and commuters. QT provides Top Tier certified gasoline, a higher standard of fuel designed to help maintain engine cleanliness and long-term performance.
To celebrate the grand opening, QT is offering drivers 25 cents off per gallon when using QT Pay in the QuikTrip app, plus 5% off in-store and in-app purchases. Customers can also access a variety of coupons and special offers on each visit by downloading the QuikTrip app, including 49-cent Big Q fountain drinks through Aug. 30.
This store alone creates approximately 24 local jobs. QuikTrip offers store employees competitive pay, tuition reimbursement, medical coverage and comprehensive 401(k) benefits. Newsweek, in partnership with market research firm Statista, recently named QT one of the Most Trustworthy Companies in America and a winner of its America’s Best Customer Service award, reflecting a culture built on employee development and long-term career paths.
QuikTrip also donates 5% of its annual net profits to charitable organizations each year, with a longstanding focus on public safety and at-risk youth.
Local leaders joined QuikTrip for a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the store on Wednesday.
QuikTrip plans to open its next Utah store in Springville in December 2026, with additional locations to follow across the Beehive State.
Today, QuikTrip has more than 34,000 employees and operates more than 1,250 stores in 23 states.
