Golden Gate Petroleum has announced the launch of Golden Gate Rewards, its new loyalty program and mobile app, which is live now at participating locations.
The program serves two groups: local customers who stop in for fuel, coffee and food, and professional drivers who rely on Golden Gate truck stops along the region’s major highway corridors. Golden Gate Rewards is powered by Patron Points, the award-winning loyalty platform built for convenience retailers.
“Our customers have been loyal to us for over 50 years. Now we get to return the favor,” said Randy Shores, marketing manager at Golden Gate Petroleum. “Whether you’re filling up on the way to work or hauling freight across four states, Golden Gate Rewards delivers real savings to your pocket every time you stop.”
Members save two cents per gallon on fuel and earn points on every purchase, in-store and at the pump. New members get 100 bonus points plus a free coffee or fountain drink when they join.
The Trucker Program rewards drivers with higher earning rates as they fuel more each month. It includes four tiers, bonus points on diesel, DEF, coffee and fresh food, plus 100 bonus points and a free coffee or fountain drink at sign-up. Drivers can pick up a Golden Gate Rewards card in-store to enroll, then track their tier status in the app.
“Professional drivers keep this country moving, and they keep our business moving too,” said Shores. “They shouldn’t have to go to a national chain to get a rewards program worth their time. The more miles they put in with us, the more they earn.”
