George H. Green Oil Co., the Fairburn, Ga.-based operator of approximately 50 convenience stores, reached a deal to bring Huddle House to its convenience store offering.

Huddle House is a full-service restaurant chain known for its comfortable, family-oriented casual dining experience with a friendly neighborhood feel. The new Fairburn Huddle House boasts a colorful and inviting atmosphere, reminding patrons of those cozy neighborhood diners of the past. The restaurant features polished chrome trim, green and white checkerboard tile, red-cushioned counter stool seating and mahogany benches.

Citing the growing need for diversification and in keeping with its commitment to providing customers with fresher and healthier foods, Green Oil expects consumers to take advantage of the new offering.

“We feel fortunate to be a part of the Fairburn community,” said Jim Callahan, marketing director for Green Oil and the new Fairburn Huddle House. “We’re excited to offer a full-service restaurant with the warm, family-friendly atmosphere that consumers have come to expect and trust from Huddle House over the past 40 years.”

Additionally, Callahan said, the restaurant allows Green Oil to support the local community. “Green Oil is extremely pleased to be able to add 40 new jobs to the struggling economy.”

Huddle House offers a wide variety of cooked to order food, fresh off the grill for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Philip Greifeld, CEO of Huddle House said he expects Huddle House to continue its rapid national expansion, opening new locations at a steady pace.

“We pride ourselves on Huddle House’s ability to expand to new, untapped markets,” said Greifeld. “Huddle House is a well-known national brand and new communities welcome us with open arms. Our excellent franchise partners play an integral role in our continued development efforts across the U.S.”
