This year’s Rocky Mountain Cigar Festival is eliminating bottled water in favor of more environmentally-friendly self-serve water dispensers.
The Rocky Mountain Cigar Festival is set for Aug. 25, 2018 in Broomfield, Colo., at the world renowned Omni Interlocken Resort, and this year, the festival is going green regarding bottled water.
Water tables from Event Water Solution Inc. will filter and deliver cold, clear drinking water to patrons that will remove 10,000 plastic water bottles and their effects on the environment.
“Each water table is out fitted with self-serve spouts that dispense one liter of triple-filtered water in under 10 seconds. All guests will receive a complimentary water bottle upon checking into the Rocky Mountain Cigar Festival that will allow them to utilize the water tables,” said Mary Szarmach, senior vice president governmental & external affairs, Smoker Friendly Int. “Smoker Friendly takes immense pride in giving back to the community that has given the company so much and hopes that all our guests have a great and safe Rocky Mountain Cigar Festival.”
The festival attracts consumers that are geared toward premium high-end product – including premium cigars, hand-crafted brews, unique wine and spirits, excellent food and everything encompassing the finer things in life.
