7-Eleven’s restaurant brand Laredo Taco Co. is rolling out deals ahead of National Taco Day, which takes place this year on Tuesday, Oct. 6.
To mark the occasion, Laredo Taco Co. locations are doubling down by offering limited-time deals at participating 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes stores.
For breakfast, customers can buy one Potato & Egg Taco and get one free. Each taco is made with hand-cracked eggs and cooked on a hot grill alongside seasoned potatoes. The offer extends to lunch, when customers can buy one Chicken Fajita Taco and get a second one free.
Plus, the chain is offering $5 Gran Tocino Tacos and Burritos, made with scrambled eggs and bacon, wrapped on a handmade flour tortilla. Customers can grab two El Gran Tocino tacos for $5 or a single El Gran Tocino burrito for $5.
Additionally, Laredo Taco Co. is rolling out the $5 Taco Meal Deal, which features a chicken taco, bean and cheese taco, a small side and a Big Gulp drink for $5.
“National Taco Day aligning with Taco Tuesday is the kind of coincidence taco fans can’t ignore,” said William Armstrong, senior vice president, restaurant operations and innovation at 7-Eleven. “At Laredo Taco Co., we’re celebrating with flavorful salsas, carefully marinated meats and warm flour tortillas our customers know and love, along with deals worth showing up hungry for.”
Emphasis on Restaurant Operations
7-Eleven has been putting additional effort into its restaurant brands in recent months. Just last week, the chain rolled out a new lineup of value menus across its restaurant brands: Laredo Taco Co., Raise the Roost and Speedy Café.
“With fan-favorite options served up at a great price, the latest lineup makes mealtime easier than ever,” the company noted in a statement at the time.
At Laredo Taco Co., the chain is introducing the Más Value Menu, which features a $5 breakfast meal pairing two Original Breakfast Tacos — chorizo and egg, potato and egg, or bean and cheese — with a small coffee, as well as a $7 lunch meal that includes any two lunch tacos and a large Big Gulp drink.
For Raise the Roost customers, they can find the all-new Raise Your Cravings Menu, featuring popular breakfast and lunch favorites for $4 and under, including the Chicken Biscuit, Sausage & Cheese Muffin, the Crispy Wrap and 4-piece Nuggets, among others.
Speedy Cafe locations are introducing the Speedy Deals Menu, offering under $3 deals on Crispy Wraps and Grilled Wraps, while breakfast staples like the Bacon, Egg and Cheese Croissant and Sausage, Egg and Cheese Biscuit are under $4.
