Mark VII Equipment Inc., the Colorado-based subsidiary of WashTec AG of Germany, has added four people to its direct sales organization, the company said.
Mark VII is a leading manufacturer and supplier of equipment and solutions for the carwash industry worldwide.
“I’m proud to add these experienced sales professionals to the Mark VII team,” said Steve Jeffs, vice president of sales at Mark VII. “With other carwash manufacturers tightening their belts and blaming the economy, we believe it’s a perfect time to add feet on the street and grab market share.”
Stephen Essary will become Mark VII’s sales manager for the state of Texas – excluding the panhandle and El Paso. He has nearly 30 years of sales and management experience in the heavy equipment and construction industries.
Mark Martinez, based in San Antonio, Texas, will sell Mark VII products throughout central and southwest Texas. He joins Mark VII from Surgipath, where he was responsible for selling medical products to more than 160 accounts across Texas.
Randy Phillips, based in St. Louis, Mo., takes over sales for the southern Illinois and eastern Missouri market. He was previously a field technician for Mark VII in the same market and has more than seven years of experience in the carwash industry.
Will Quaglieri, based in Denver, Colo., has joined Mark VII’s Key Accounts sales team, where he will focus on driving sales to regional and national gas and convenience store chains. He comes to Mark VII from Pella Corporation, where he was responsible for business development in the Denver area.
