CHS Inc. has launched a new Cenex Winter Gift Card Campaign designed to help Cenex-branded retailers increase traffic and build incremental sales. The winter campaign includes all new in-store merchandising, three fresh gift card designs and professional installation services for operators, said Rick Cummings, vice president of refined fuels marketing for St. Paul, Minn.-based CHS.
“We’re seeing signs that consumers will shift some of their holiday gift card spending toward necessities such as groceries and gas due to strains on the household budget,” said Cummings. “We believe Cenex gift cards are a practical and thoughtful gift choice that will be greatly appreciated this season.”
The new winter-themed gift cards feature whimsical images inspired by c-store items such as snowflakes made of tree-shaped air fresheners, hats made of red licorice and snowmen made of crackers. The new gift cards are also made of corn-based plastic to support the company’s agricultural producers and help protect the environment, Cummings said.
