Kum & Go LC has opened a new store in Conifer, Colo., continuing its expansion in the Rocky Mountain region. The 3,400-square-foot store took less than four months to construct.
“We are thrilled to offer a Kum & Go location for the residents of Conifer and surrounding areas,” said Kyle Krause, Kum & Go president and CEO. “We are excited to build new relationships with businesses and patrons within the community.”
The new store offers eight conventional fueling stations, including unleaded, unleaded plus, premium and diesel fuels. In addition, the store features a wide selection of food and beverages, including Java Ridge Premium Coffee, Go Fresh Market Sandwiches, Nuclear energy drinks and Nutri2o nutraceutical waters.
The West Des Moines, Iowa-based Kum & Go also offers potato chips, bottled water, cookies and candy under its well-known Hiland brand name.
As part of Kum & Go’s commitment to developing environmentally friendly building and operating practices, the new Conifer store integrates heavily insulated glass, LED cooler door lights and energy-efficient coolers into its energy-efficient design.
This is the first location in the Conifer area and the 31st store in the state of Colorado. The fifth-largest privately held c-store chain in the U.S., Kum & Go has 438 c-stores in 12 states.
