The Pepsi Bottling Group Inc., of Somers, N.Y. ha appointed Eric Llopis as senior vice president and chief strategy officer.
In his new role, Llopis will lead the company’s planning efforts and work closely with PBG’s global management team to drive innovation and strengthen and diversify the company’s brand portfolio. He’ll also look to capitalize on geographic growth opportunities.
He’ll be reporting to PBG Chairman and CEO Eric Foss.

Prior to joining PBG, Llopis served as director of competitive strategy at Miller Brewing Company. Before joining Miller in 2005, he co-founded Auctive, a management consulting firm where he specialized in helping consumer product companies such as Diageo, Coors, Kellogg and Eastman Kodak with strategies related to product portfolio growth, distribution, channel development and international expansion.
He also spent eight years with Dove Consulting, where he advised PepsiCo, Nestle, Kraft and others.
