Quick Chek, which operates more than 120 fresh food store locations throughout New Jersey and southern New York, announced two long-time business partners as the company’s 2009 Vendors of the Year: Quick Chek foodservice distributor AFI and Drew Grosso, owner of Empire Millwork.

 

Cited for its unwavering contribution in helping to strengthen Quick Chek’s business operations and customer service, AFI, the company’s foodservice distributor for the past eight years, was also recognized for its dedication in successfully moving the company’s foodservice category forward.

 

In addition, Drew Grosso, owner of Empire Millwork based in Millstone Township, N.J., received Vendor of the Year honors. Responsible for Quick Chek’s cabinetry, countertop, trim and molding construction work, Grosso has represented Quick Chek for the past three decades where he was acknowledged by company representatives as an innovative problem solver during Quick Chek’s annual recognition event.
