Associates and officials of Kum & Go L.C. are shocked and saddened by the loss of a longtime associate, Sheila Myers, who was a victim of a crime at a Kum & Go store in Humboldt, Iowa this November.

“We are deeply saddened by the passing of Sheila Myers. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Sheila’s family and friends. It is good to see our Kum & Go family coming together to support each other during this difficult time,” said Kum & Go president and CEO Kyle Krause.

Another Kum & Go executive noted that Myers “never missed a shift” and was always willing to pick up additional hours when needed.

Krause said the company is making grief counseling and other support available through an associate assistance program and has established a place on its Web site where Myers’ family, friends and fellow associates can post remembrances.
