Ordinance would ban e-cigs but allow traditional cigarettes.
An article in the Springfield Republican has reported that the West Springfield, Mass. Board of Health is considering a regulation that would ban the sale of electronic cigarettes in the town.
However, unlike laws in other cities, which ban the sale of e-cigarettes to minors, this proposal would ban ALL sales of e-cigs, until/unless they become officially “approved” by the FDA.
If the West Springfield Board of Health rules in favor of this proposal, it would make West Springfield the first location in the U.S. to ban the sale of e-cigarettes.
