Condron’s “vast knowledge and experience in the energy and cooperative environment made him a perfect fit for us,” says MFA Oil president.
MFA Oil Co. has named Robert Condron chief financial officer, effective Jan.28, 2013.
Condron is now responsible for the IT, finance and corporate services departments. He also evaluates strategic and financial planning as the company seeks growth in new regions of the country.
Condron brings 34 years of energy sales, marketing and cooperative experience to MFA Oil. Most recently, Condron served as the director of petroleum supply and marketing for Coffeyville Resources Refining and Marketing LLC. As the supply and marketing director, Condron was responsible for comprehensive strategic planning for the operation and sales from the Coffeyville, Kan. and Wynnewood, Okla. refineries, with capacities of 200,000 barrels per day. He previously worked for CHS, Inc., Country Energy LLC and Farmland Industries in various leadership and sales capacities.

Condron earned a Master’s degree in agricultural economics from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1978. He is a Chillicothe native and continues to operate a family farm.

The company supplies fuels, lubricants and propane to customers in Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Indiana, Kentucky and Iowa.
