Kum & Go hosted a ribbon-cutting event to kick off the grand opening celebrations for a new store in Waukee on Friday, March 1, at 8 a.m.

The event took place at the new store at the intersection of Interstate 80 and County Hwy R22/Ute Avenue in Waukee, Iowa.

The Kum & Go store was previously located across the interstate, but has been relocated to accommodate the 5,000 square foot format. The new design features more interior space, a larger selection of freshly made foods and hot drinks, and an environmentally conscious construction process. Kum & Go has three stores in Waukee, which employ approximately 35 associates.

Kum & Go operates more than 400 stores in 11 states, employs more than 5,000 associates and has annual sales in excess of $2 billion.
