Distributor looks for competitive advantage with new image, program features.
De Queen, Ark.-based Romine Oil Co. has signed on as the latest partner in VP Racing Fuels’ national branding program.

After starting as a consigned agent for Arkansas Fuel Oil and selling bulk products through Cities Service, Ray Romine founded Romine Oil in 1947. After taking over the business in 1976, Romine’s son, Larry, built the company’s first convenience store in Dierks, Ark. in 1979. The company currently supports 15 retail locations, while also supplying lubricants and fuel to railroads, poultry companies, manufacturers of home improvement equipment and other industries in Arkansas and Oklahoma.
