Geno Kurlopnik promoted to customer merchandising manager after retirement of Eby veteran, Ralph Kallmann.
Eby-Brown Co. LLC has announced the retirement of long time veteran, Ralph Kallman. Geno Kurlopnik will replace Kallmann as customer merchandising manger.
Kurolapnik joined Eby-Brown in June of 2011. He is currently responsible for managing Eby Brown’s Vendor Day Program and overseeing SmartProcess interface with the sales department. Prior to his current responsibilities within the merchandising department, Kurolapnik spent time in various positions within Eby-Brown’s sales and procurement departments, respectively.
Kurolapnik began his full time career as a sales management trainee focused on independent sales training. As a replenishment buyer he handled purchasing responsibilities for the OTP and store supplies categories. Most recently, as a Key Account Manger, Kurolapnik managed the day-to-day operational execution of one of Eby-Brown’s major retail partners.
Kurolapnik graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology in May 2011. The previous summer, he completed an internship with Eby-Brown within the sales department.
