Convenience store chain Kwik Trip, based in La Crosse, Wis., has reached a giant milestone.
Kwik Trip is celebrating its 50th anniversary.
On Friday, La Crosse, Wis. and Onalaska, Wis. proclaimed July 10 as “Kwik Trip Day.”
For the next month, the company is offering a number of different deals and give-a-ways for its customers, including 50-cent coffee and soda.
Kwik Trip’s owner credited the company’s long lasting success to its loyal employees.
“We want them to be, to come to work happy, we want them to be happy at their work and we want them to be happy when they leave their work. They’re our greatest assets that we have and the greatest happiness for me is seeing our co-workers happy,” said owner Don Zietlow.
Kwik Trip operates 490 stores in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa.
