new Parker's store on Hilton Head IslandIn response to consumer demand, Parker’s has opened its first location on Hilton Head Island, S.C.

Hilton Head Island, S.C. is now home to the newest Parker’s convenience store.

This is the Savannah, Ga.- based company’s 43rd convenience store, and its first on Hilton Head Island. The store is located on Hwy. 278 at 165 William Hilton Parkway. The new retail location features a hot deli serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Highlights include a full breakfast bar as well as Southern fried chicken tenders, mac ‘n’ cheese and other classic favorites.

The store also sells high-quality Parker’s gas, the company’s signature Chewy Ice, fountain drinks, fresh-brewed tea and lemonade, gourmet coffee, 28-degree beer, vape products, cell phone accessories and much more.

“We’ve had tremendous success with our stores in Bluffton and Port Royal,” said Greg Parker, company president and CEO. “Our new Hilton Head Island location is a direct response to consumer demand. We’re proud to be the Low Price Leader in South Carolina.”

Parker’s currently operates convenience stores in South Carolina in Bluffton, Port Royal, Okatie, Hardeeville and Pritchardville. The Hilton Head Island location is managed and staffed by experienced members of the Parker’s team, all of whom share a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.

“Coastal South Carolina is a major growth area for Parker’s,” said Parker. “We opened new stores in Hardeeville and Bluffton in December and have plans to open additional stores in the coming months.”

Hilton Head Island customers can choose the Parker’s Cash Card or PumpPal Card, both of which offer savings of up to 10 cents a gallon at the pump. Area residents can pick up a Cash Card or a PumpPal card at any Parker’s location to start saving.

Founded in 1976, Parker’s has earned accolades for its PumpPal program, which offers deep discounts on gas and has saved customers more than $5 million since its inception. Today, the PumpPal program has more than 100,000 members throughout Georgia and South Carolina. The company also launched a Parker’s Cash Card in 2015, which has also enjoyed tremendous success.

Parker’s currently operates 43 convenience stores across the region and employs nearly 500 individuals throughout Georgia and South Carolina. Over the next several months, Parker’s plans to open new locations in Okatie, S.C., Claxton, Ga. and Statesboro, Ga.

The company, which completes more than 80,000 transactions daily,  will celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2016.
