The S. Abraham & Sons (SAS), 30th annual Vendor Exhibit and Trade Show has concluded with more than 175 booths and over 1,500 attendees representing convenience store owners and managers.
Houdini’s Magic Mart featured merchandising ideas, new item displays, new store fixtures, and an array of new program offerings, as well as, current SAS programs. These included Champs Chicken, Calico Fudge, Hot off the Grill, Fruit Fridge Farms, Peppers Smoothies, Beantown Coffee, Revolution Tea, Joe Coffee and a unique Espresso machine from Bunn.
After a full day on the show floor on Thursday meeting with manufacturers and planning their spring and summer selling season, retailers enjoyed a relaxed evening with dinner and entertainment.
Alan Abraham, president of SAS, welcomed the guests, thanking them for a mutually beneficial business partnership and encouraging them to create magic in their stores with creative promotions, enthused personnel, healthy snacks and wholesome foodservice options. Following dinner, guests were entertained by a speed painter and Comedy Magician, Mike Hammer, who with his 25 years of performing as a Las Vegas headliner had the group laughing and some even participating on stage for an enjoyable evening.
At the conclusion of the night, George Bennett, vice president sales and marketing and Kaye Powell, vice president trade relations and event planning, gave away an all-expense paid trip to Las Vegas to a lucky SAS customer.
