SoCalGas opens its 15th CNG fueling station.
SoCalGas has announced the opening of its newest Compressed Natural Gas fueling station in Pico Rivera, Calif. This new fueling station is SoCalGas’s 15th CNG station.
Wed., July 13 marked the grand opening of this new station, and the company held a grand opening celebration, complete with a ribbon cutting ceremony, at 10:45 a.m.
Pico Rivera mayor David Armenta, and congresswoman Linda Sánchez, 38th District, senator Tony Mendoza, State Senate District 32, assemblywoman Cristina Garcia, State Assembly District 58 and The Coca-Cola Co. joined SoCalGas for the ribbon cutting ceremony.
The celebration of the new station was held at SoCalGas’s Pico Rivera Operating Base, which is located at 8101 Rosemead Blvd, Pico Rivera, Calif. 90660.
SoCalGas executives and elected officials were available for short interviews following the event.
The event featured a VIP ribbon cutting, vehicle static displays, including Coca-Cola Green Fleet truck and certificate presentations by local officials. Additionally, Lisa Alexander, vice president of Customer Solutions and Communications for SoCalGas, and David Armenta, Pico Rivera mayor, spoke at the event.
