New 12,000-square-foot travel center features an array of foodservice options.

Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores has opened its second travel stop in Van, Texas on Interstate 20. The new site is directly across the street from the existing Love’s Travel Center location at Exit 540.

“Opening our second location in Van is monumental because we now have the capacity to serve more drivers in a concentrated area,” said Greg Love, co-CEO of Love’s, which is headquartered in Oklahoma City, Okla. “With the strong local economic activity as well as the well-traveled Interstate 20, our Customers will enjoy additional parking, dining options and other driver services.”

The 12,000 square-foot facility is open 24/7 and features three dining options: Arby’s, Godfather’s Pizza and Chester’s restaurants. The location also has 74 truck-parking spaces in addition to the 40 truck-parking spaces at the other Love’s in Van, seven showers, RFID cardless fueling, CAT scales and other driver services. Customers can also enjoy gourmet coffee, fresh fruit, gift items and more. The original Love’s in Van has a Truck Tire Care Center.

A 74-room Fairfield Inn will open adjacent to the travel stop early next year.
