A new fuel offering provides Pilot customers with more rewards opportunities.
A number of Pilot convenience stores in Knoxville, Tenn. will soon begin offering Shell branded fuel.
According to a recent report from the Knoxville News Sentinel, James Haslam II, Pilot’s chairman and founder, has announced that 29 Pilot convenience stores in the Knoxville, Tenn. area will soon begin selling Shell gasoline. The first store to carry Shell fuel will be the store located at 1257 Parkway in Sevierville, Tenn. This location is expected to begin offering the new fuel by the end of this month. All 29 stores are expected to begin selling the fuel by the end of the year.
As a part of this new affiliation with Shell, Pilot customers will now be able to take advantage of the Shell Fuel Rewards and grocery rewards programs, thereby offering Pilot customers even more loyalty points opportunities.
In addition to accepting Shell rewards at all Pilot stations that offer Shell branded fuel, all Pilot stations will continue to accept Pilot Fleet Cards and Pilot MyRewards cards for in-store retail promotions, Knoxville News Sentinel reported.
Under this new arrangement with Shell, Pilot will maintain ownership and management of all of its convenience stores. Each of the 29 stores that will now offer Shell fuel will be updated in the near future, Knoxville News Sentinel reported. The stores offering Shell gasoline will feature fuel islands that are branded with the Shell logo. Each of these stores will sell multiple grades of Shell unleaded gasoline.
