Drivers in three different states now have access to a variety of amenities at three brand new Love’s Travel Stops.
On Thurs., Sept. 15, Love’s Travel Stops opened three new locations, with one in Kansas, one in Oklahoma and one in Mississippi.
The Love’s Country Store in Meade, Kan., is located along U.S. Highway 54 and State Route 23. Love’s opened a travel stop in Okmulgee, Okla., along U.S. Highway 75, along with one in Lake, Miss., along Interstate 20 at Exit 96. The Okmulgee store has Love’s third IHOP Express restaurant.
“One of our goals this year has been to provide more dining options in addition to the driver services and amenities Love’s offers,” said Greg Love, co-CEO of Love’s. “Any time we can provide an area with a new restaurant option, such as IHOP Express, is an exciting opportunity. We look forward to serving customers in new parts of Kansas, Oklahoma and Mississippi for a long time.”
The Meade, Kan. country store offers a Subway restaurant and two roller grills with hot food items. The Okmulgee, Okla. travel stop features 59 truck-parking spaces and five showers. The Lake, Miss. travel stop offers seven showers, 80 truck-parking spaces and Love’s Truck Tire Care. All three locations are open 24/7 and offer fresh fruit and gourmet coffee. The travel stops have a wide variety of electronics, gift items, RFID cardless fueling, CAT scales and other driver services.
The new locations are opening during Love’s annual companywide campaign to raise money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Drivers can get involved by purchasing a paper balloon for $1, $5 or $20 through September 30. All the money raised locally benefits local hospitals to help sick and injured children in that community.
Throughout the month of September, Love’s is also recognizing professional drivers in honor of National Truck Driver Appreciation Week. One driver will win 500,000 My Love Rewards points, a $5,000 retail value at Love’s, by swiping their My Love Rewards card on fuel, merchandise or tire care purchases in any store. An additional 2,000 card members will win 10,000 points instantly, a $100 retail value at Love’s, throughout September by swiping their card in any store.
