Based in Sioux Falls, S.D., Orion saw the need to bring great tasting pizza made fresh every day to these communities so they started Hot Stuff Pizza. With convenience stores in nearly every town, this new brand found a way to bring hot, fresh pizza to towns that had populations of 5,000 or less. In fact, Hot Stuff Pizza was the first company to make fresh pizza in convenience stores in the U.S. when it opened in Webster, S.D. in 1986.
With the company’s roots based in Sioux Falls, Orion Food Systems discovered the best way to ensure a high-quality product was to manufacture the base of it in the community where it all began. The recipe for the dough that would launch Hot Stuff Pizza was started with grains farmed in the heart of South Dakota. Decades later, that recipe has been perfected with locally sourced ingredients to not only design a delicious dough, but hearty sauces and 100% REAL cheese blend for a pizza consumers have grown to love.
Today, Hot Stuff Pizza has +1,000 locations in rural and metro areas, serving up a menu consisting not only of pizza, but delicious items for all dayparts.
