Johnson & Johnson Transport Inc. of Madison, Fla. has partnered with Advanced Digital Data Inc. (ADD Systems).
Johnson & Johnson Transport needed a software solution for its wholesale fuel business and discovered ADD Systems in a non-traditional way—it called the state of Florida’s taxing authority and got a list of software companies that could handle its tax reporting. ADD Systems was one of three on the list and, after just a little bit of research, it became clear that ADD Systems was the best fit.
Johnson & Johnson Transport Inc. has been in business for 24 years and just recently made the decision to diversify and enter the wholesale business. It has a rapidly growing company, delivering both clear and dyed off-road diesel and gasoline. With this growth came the need to simplify its tax reporting. The company wanted it to be quick, accurate and as painless as possible. Its current method involved too much manual work and room for error.
Johnson & Johnson Transport implemented ADD Systems’ ADD Energy E3 software. It fits the wholesale business well and gives the company the functionality it requires to compete successfully in its industry. Not only is the company pleased with the software itself, but the implementation and training process was beyond expectations and went so smoothly that it ended a week early.
Brenda Lancaster, controller at Johnson & Johnson Transport Inc., expressed her satisfaction with the partnership, stating, “The benefits of ADD Systems’ automation is amazing. There are no more billing errors and we have become so much more efficient!”
