On the first Wednesday of each month, Parker’s donates a portion of gas sales to a local school.
Parker’s recently donated $5,000 to Bryan County Schools through the company’s popular Fueling the Community program, which donates a portion of the sale of every gallon of gas on the first Wednesday of each month to area schools.
The check donation ceremony took place at Richmond Hill Elementary School in Richmond Hill, Ga.
Jeff Bush, director of operations at Parker’s, presented the check to public school administrators, students and teachers, who accepted the donation on behalf of the Bryan County public school system. Every year, Parker’s donates more than $100,000 to area public and private schools.
“At Parker’s, we understand the power of education and are committed to giving back to every community where we do business,” said Bush. “Through our Fueling the Community Program, we are honored to support teachers in Bryan County, who are making a positive impact on the lives of their students in the classroom and beyond.”
