Allsup’s Convenience Stores, the Clovis, N.M.-based operator of more than 300 stores in New Mexico, West Texas, and Oklahoma, has named Cardtronics its exclusive provider of ATM services.
The newly-formed relationship will add more than 300 ATMs to Allsup’s stores in 160 towns and cities in New Mexico, Texas, and Oklahoma.
Commencing immediately, Cardtronics will begin installing ATMs in Allsup’s convenience stores, with projected completion expected early this spring.
“Loyalty and collaboration are core to our business at Cardtronics. In our new role as Allsup’s exclusive ATM services provider, Cardtronics will exhibit those characteristics through a partnership approach, focused on using our ATMs to drive point-of-sale spend for Allsup’s convenience stores,” said Cardtronics Chief Commercial Officer Jonathan Simpson-Dent.
Founded in 1956 in Roswell, N.M., Allsup’s was one of the first convenience store chains to offer 24-hour self-service gasoline and were early implementers of selling foods freshly cooked onsite. Allsup’s sells fuel under the Alon, ConocoPhillips, Exxon and Allsup’s private-label “On the Go” brands.
