Nouria Energy Corp. recently opened its new flagship location at Boston Logan Airport.
Founded in 1989 by founder and CEO Tony El-Nemr, Nouria Energy is one of New England’s largest and most trusted family-owned and operated convenience stores and fuel retailers. The company owns 150 convenience store locations in five New England states of which 118 are company operated and supplies fuel to more than 150 commission, leased and open dealers through its wholesale and logistics arm commission and leased dealers.
To mark the occasion, the company held a grand opening and ribbon cutting celebration that was attended by over 200 city and state dignitaries, Massport officials, customers and community residents.
“Today is a very special day indeed for me personally and for our entire Nouria team,” said El-Nemr. “The opening of our flagship nouria location has been a personal dream that through the hard work, and dedication of our collective nouria team, it has finally come true.”
First of its kind in the company and the exclusive c-store/fueling station at Boston Logan, the store features unique architecture, a bright and spacious layout, community-inspired graphics and amenities such as a drive-through and both indoor and outdoor seating.
The store proudly offers customers Shell branded fuel through its 16 fueling stations and two electric charging stations.
In addition to the wide assortment of better-for-you foods, snacks and new-age beverages, the 5,000-square-foot store features two iconic co-brands in Starbucks full-serve premium coffee and East Boston’s favorite family owned Italian Restaurant, Meridian Market.
Nouria celebrated this special occasion by donating $10,000 to the East Boston Library spread over 10 years and $5,000 student scholarship spread over 5 years to a local East Boston public school.
“There is no better way to celebrate this special occasion than to give back to our community,” said El-Nemr. “And since education is one of our corporate values, we thought that the East Boston Public Library and the East Boston public schools would be the perfect choice for our contribution.”
