Hoshizaki America Inc. is offering two new ice machines for retail marketers. First is the KM-101BAH, which produces up to 115 pounds of ice within 24 hours and includes a built-in storage bin capable of holding 56 pounds of ice. Second, is the KM-151BAH unit which can produce up to 146 pounds of ice with 93 pounds of built-in storage. These air-cooled models easily fit under a counter and comply with the new California Energy Commission (CEC) requirement. The self contained units feature a stainless steel evaporator, front in and out airflow, accessible power switch, slide-in door and a removable air filter allow for built-in installation. Hoshizaki’s automated facilities in Peachtree, Ga., manufacture complete lines of ice makers, dispensers, refrigerators/freezers and related accessories.
