In a tough economy, c-store operators are adding more services to entice customers to their stores.
Alice Williams, owner of Alice’s 66 Gas N Snacks 2 Go, recently added U-Haul truck and trailer rentals to her convenience store and full-service gas station.
The new service will appeal to families needing moving services. U-Haul is partnering with business owners across North America to increase convenience for customers.
Alice’s 66 Gas N Snacks 2 Go also now offers its customers a variety of moving equipment and supplies designed specifically for moving household furnishings, including moving vans, open trailers, closed trailers, furniture pads, appliance dollies, furniture dollies, tow dollies and auto transports.
“I feel that U-Haul was a good business to add to my gas station to generate customers,” Williams said.
“U-Haul is proud to be partnering with a quality independent business such as Alice’s 66 Gas N Snacks 2 Go,” said Mike Hale, president, U-Haul Company of Nebraska. “Alice is a great example of the type of successful business relationship U-Haul has established in order to build and maintain a strong network of more than 15,000 independent dealers across North America.”
