Newcastle Brown Ale lets its wild side out this summer as it released its limited edition Newcastle Werewolf beer. The brew blends a sweet berry taste in the front with a bitter bite at the end. The product is brewed with rye malts to make it a naturally blood-red color. It has an alcohol by volume of 4.5% with 23.4 International Bittering Units. Newcastle Werewolf is available nationally from August 2012 to October 2012 in both six packs and 12 packs, priced comparably to Newcastle Brown Ale.
