Master-Bilt received a National Restaurant Association 2013 Kitchen Innovations Award for the parallel glycol rack refrigeration system, which uses the most energy efficient refrigeration system available to chill a glycol loop that cools equipment in a foodservice kitchen or retail environment. The most unique feature of the Master-Bilt glycol system is its utilization of floating head pressure technology lowering energy consumption of the refrigeration system by as much as 25% over a standard mechanically-controlled glycol system.
