From March 29 through April 2, TravelCenters of America will be hosting a number of exciting events and attractions at the 2016 MATS.
TravelCenters of America LLC is bringing a number of exciting attractions to the 2016 Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS) in Louisville. This year at MATS, TravelCenters, operator of TA and Petro Stopping Centers branded travel centers, will sponsor the Shower Trailer and offer FREE Truck Parking and shuttle service to the event. The company will also host the “Be an Instant Winner” game in booth #19156. More information on the offerings from TravelCenters follows.
FREE Truck Parking and Shuttle Service: The Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium Truck Parking lot has space for drivers to park trucks/RVs for FREE (no hook-ups). There will be FREE shuttles to and from the convention center, food vendors, showers and portable restrooms. Free Truck Parking and shuttle service was made possible by TA and Petro Stopping Centers.
Shower Trailer: TA and Petro will be making a splash at MATS as sponsor of the shower trailer located in the FREE truck parking lot. Drivers can schedule a shower at the TA and Petro booth #19156 or at the shower tent in the lot. TA and Petro will provide one FREE souvenir towel with each shower appointment, while supplies last. Showers are FREE for UltraONE Platinum members.
Be an Instant Winner: With just a swipe of their UltraONE card, drivers can be instant winners and enter the grand prize drawings. Grand prizes include: daily winners taking home a total of $4,000 in TA Truck Service / Petro:Lube MasterCard Incentive Cards (One-$1,000, Two-$500, Four-$250 and 10-$100) in addition to hundreds of other fun prizes.
FREE Samples to Savor: Attendees visiting the TA and Petro Stopping Centers booth will be in for a treat with FREE tastes of world-famous Johnson Corner’s Cinnamon Rolls and World Blends coffee, the freshest roast on the road.
Captain Cool is Here: Visit the coolest cup on the road- live and in person! Take a photo with Captain Cool and learn all about TravelCenters’ newest fountain beverage cup.
Citizen Driver Meet & Greet: On Friday from 4 -5 p.m., drivers will have the opportunity to visit with past and present Citizen Driver honorees during the Citizen Driver open house in the TravelCenters booth.
Maintenance Matters: Drivers can stop by booth #19156 and visit with Homer Hogg as he shares the latest in “Maintenance Matters.”
Live Entertainment: Attendees can catch Tony Justice performing live on Friday at 2:30 p.m. in the Tech Talk Lounge in booth #19156.
Spin the Wheel: With the spin of the wheel, attendees win prizes and make donations. All proceeds benefit the St. Christopher Truckers Development and Relief Fund (SCF).
Visit the Tech Talk Lounge: New this year, drivers can visit the Tech Talk Lounge at booth #19156 to engage in tech-related presentations and demos, learn about new truck technology, recharge electronic devices or simply relax and re-connect with old and new friends.
Health Awareness Walk: TA and Petro Stopping Centers, a co-sponsor with Trucking Solutions Group, will provide a FREE water bottle and 500 UltraONE points to all Health Awareness Walk participants. The walk will be held on Thursday, at 7 p.m. at truck parking in the Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium Truck Parking Stage (check-in at 6:30 p.m.).
