Helps raise $2,350 for Make-A-Wish Foundation.
VERC Enterprises, a convenience store, Mobil/Gulf gasoline retailer and car wash operator with locations throughout eastern Massachusetts and New Hampshire, recently did its part to help the Suffolk University Fraternity Sigma Alpha Epsilon raise $2,350 to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
On Nov. 12, VERC Enterprises donated $2 for every car washed at the Marshfield or Norwell Briteway to the fraternity’s campaign for Make-A-Wish, an organization that grants wishes to children facing life-threatening medical conditions.
Members of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, including Nick Vercollone, son of VERC Enterprises Co-Owner and Vice President Paul Vercollone, went to work at both Briteway locations, hand drying vehicles as they exited the car washes.
By the end of the day, a total of $2,350 was raised in support of the non-profit foundation that for more than 35 years has granted wishes to ill children ages 3-17.
“It was our honor to participate in this important fundraiser,” said Paul Vercollone.
